Akura teamed up with Hutcheon & Pearce to create Australia’s largest John Deere dealership. This purpose-built complex sets a new standard for agricultural service and support in regional Australia.

Built for long-term success
The Griffith branch integrates a steel portal frame, dado panels, 275 tonnes of structural steel and 1,659 sqm of precast panels. The facility houses a showroom and offices, a workshop with 24 service bays, four 10-tonne gantry cranes, a massive wash bay, dedicated parts storage and ample customer and staff parking. Built on 160,000 m³ of fill dirt, the complex is designed to accommodate future expansion while enhancing service capabilities.
Details
Design and construction of a 3,359m² warehouse with an integrated two-storey office space. Built on a 5,660m² site, the development required intelligent design to support heavy vehicle movement, palletised racking efficiency, and stringent fire safety compliance.
The opening of this new branch also marked Hutcheon & Pearce’s 10-year anniversary in Griffith — a celebration of a decade of service and innovation in the region.

“One of the key standouts for us was the fact that Akura had the steel manufacturing and the concrete panels all in-house. That significantly sped up the build process for us.”Arron Hutcheon Managing Director / Hutcheon and Pearce
