Gross Floor Area
1,300 sqm
Highgrove Bathrooms needed a versatile industrial and commercial facility with prominent brand exposure and easy customer access. Akura designed and constructed a building that met both showroom and warehousing needs, delivering a rapid turnaround.

Built for speed and quality
The 1,300 sqm facility was purpose-built to combine retail presence with efficient back-of-house logistics. The 612 sqm showroom creates a welcoming, high-impact display environment for customers, while the 692 sqm warehouse provides practical storage capacity and streamlined stock management.
By integrating retail and warehousing within one cohesive footprint, we enabled Highgrove Bathrooms to operate seamlessly — delivering a strong customer experience at the front while maintaining efficient inventory control and dispatch at the rear.
Overview
Highgrove Bathrooms required a versatile commercial facility that would strengthen brand presence while supporting continued growth. Our design focused on delivering a flexible layout that balanced presentation with operational efficiency.
The structure incorporates over 1,100 sqm of precast concrete panels and 18 tonnes of structural steel, ensuring long-term durability and structural integrity. A polished concrete floor and refined façade detailing elevate the showroom environment while maintaining the resilience required for high-traffic retail and warehouse operations.
Our Process
Delivered as a turnkey design and construct project, our team managed planning, engineering, manufacturing and construction to ensure programme certainty and consistent quality control.
By coordinating structural steel fabrication and precast panel manufacturing alongside on-site construction, we streamlined the build process and maintained strict quality standards. The project was completed within a six-month programme, allowing Highgrove Bathrooms to recommence retail operations quickly and with minimal disruption.
Key Outcomes
The completed facility provides Highgrove Bathrooms with a future-ready commercial space that supports both customer engagement and operational performance.
The integrated showroom and warehouse configuration improves workflow efficiency, protects stock and enables scalability as the business grows. Durable materials and considered construction methods ensure the building will continue to perform reliably over time, reflecting the quality and professionalism of the Highgrove brand.
